Dreams Do Not Work Unless You Do

In life, it is a fact that dreams do not work unless you do. Yet, as if by some miracle, a lot of people wait for things to happen to them. While the law of attraction states that you have to picture and focus on what you want, you must also take the necessary actions to make your dreams a reality.

But how can you stay focused on your dreams? What are the significant principles for success? Is there a code of conduct to follow?

At first, I do agree that you should begin by having big dreams, daily picturing and focusing on the things you want. But then, you cannot sit on your couch in the belief that things will fall into your laps. You have to take action, work daily, and take steps to move forward, no matter their size.

While you are doing that, you must also have the highest belief in yourself which will help you to transform your goals into reality. This code must be followed by every person who desires to be successful and pursue his dreams. You have to work hard and never give up. Otherwise, you will fail. That is the harsh reality!

Let Your Dreams Be Inspired

Do not be envious of other's success, be inspired! Too many people are jealous instead of being inspired by success stories. And in turn, feeling in such way brings them into a negative spiral that adds more negativity to their lives.

So, you have to realize that your dreams can come true and will come true if you just continue to stay focused and take action toward them. In theory, it sounds simple. Yet, this simplicity at times is complicated to follow when you are distracted by others who gave up or try to shatter your vision.

In my life, I have met a good share of successful, self-made people. Just as I did, most worked in different activities, had diverse backgrounds and came from all walks of life. But there is one thing they all have in common, and that is they all work hard and a lot to achieve their ideas of success.

Dreams Require Work

To make your dreams a reality, you do not have to copy successful people but model them. In my opinion, success has always been about doing hard work and pushing beyond boundaries. In the past, my problem has never been to know how to reach my dreams but always about how to maintain the success that followed.

And I never understood the answer, until not so long ago. You have to keep moving forward, even after reaching your dreams. Successful people have a vision, and when they get it, they create another one. It may be by helping others achieve their goals, give back, or anything else.

Envious and jealous people always come up with words like "right place, right time, luck, overnight success" when they see someone's dreams being realized. But the fact is when an opportunity comes, or they create it, successful people are ready and then, work harder than before to ensure and maintain success.

The Code to Reach Your Dreams

But despite some belief in the latest 'quick money' schemes, there is simply no substitute for hard work if you want to make your dreams come true. There is a code that is followed by all successful entrepreneurs to accomplish their vision.

Dreams Take Work

First, it is undeniable that successful people work hard. Such individuals are committed to working to dominate their market consistently. They do ten times more of everything. But how do they do it?
To succeed as well as them, you have to make work fun. If you can do it, then it stops to feel like work. You are in the process of realizing your dreams. So you should feel fulfilled and satisfied doing it. If you are not, then you need to reflect on your vision as you may not be on the right track.

To fulfill your dreams, you must enjoy the work necessary for them to be accomplished. But be careful also to enjoy life. And like anything in life takes time, practice and patience, you must commit to something you love doing. Otherwise, you will be bored, and success will never come.

Love What You Do

Next, for your dreams to become a reality, you have to model what successful people do but follow that code by creating your proper style. And the only way you can stay focused and motivated is by doing something you love.

You should not care about what other people are doing, saying or even thinking of your ideas. Other people are not the ones building your dreams and creating your success, you are. After all, it is your life, not theirs.

However, reflect on the fact that if the work needed feels like a chore, you are not going to do it as well as you could. So, while you have dreams, you have to find the work that is right for you, then work hard, push beyond the limits required and enjoy it all.

Know Your Dreams' End Goal

Finally, you have to know what your end goal is. You have to measure and define success based on your dreams; on whatever it is you truly want. While you desire to be successful, you always have to understand your own definition of success.

Measuring goals and dreams is a good indicator of whether or not you are moving towards what you want. Successful people do a lot of work, but they do it with their end goal in mind. In evaluating the direction in which you are heading, the steps and actions you take, you can see whether or not you are progressing and if you need to adjust your path.

Of course, there are many more codes and ideas we could add to this article, as well as having big dreams and be proud of any victory you may have along the way, but for the most part, these other values come after the three above.

So,dreams do not work unless you put in the hard work. And yes, it is the principal ingredient to any success. All successful people will tell you that. But again, it is what you need, in whatever you are trying to accomplish in life. Therefore, work ten times harder!

Changing Habits to Change Your Way of Life

What is a habit?

We all know it is automatic behaviour without the need for thought, and changing habits is not easy. But are there not varying degrees of habit? Some are small and really have little effect. Scratching our head when confused, nail biting. Others have an effect on us. Smoking. I fancy a smoke and before you can stop yourself, you've lit up, despite that we should know it's not healthy. Fancy a beer? How many of us tend to frequent certain local bars or pubs on certain days? We just tend to follow these regular patterns. However, although we do not stop ourselves, because changing habits is difficult, we are aware of what we are 'habiting'. We could call these open habits.

What of the habits we are unaware of, the hidden habits? Changing habits that we are aware of can be done more directly, if we apply a conscious discipline to do so. Changing habits that we are unaware of, those that control our personality and everyday behaviour, habits that subtly control our actions, will not be done unless we identify them.

Why are they difficult to identify? Because they are habits of thinking, not action. Generally people accept who they are, at this level, as unchangeable, because if we do try to change our circumstance we do not look for the reason we are where we are, our thinking. Our thinking habits that control our personality directs how we interact with the environment.

Even in war there are people of honour and fairness. It is their nature and even in conflict given the opportunity they will still exercise this nature for it is who they are and how they think. Traditionally the officer will surrender his sword, accepting his defeat and knowing that his men will be treated fairly according to rules. Let us hope that this type of thinking whether in conflict, business or everyday life does not change.

What of our own individual selves. Hopefully we are people of honour and we keep that attitude to others. But, are we also fair to ourselves? Are we perhaps not realising our potential because we are held back by thinking habits that are negative and unidentified? Perhaps they are habits that save us from fear of progressing into the unknown?

Changing habits like these can be done, for even if not fully identified, they can be overridden by habits that induce us to progress. How do we do this?

Try imagination. Imagination is a very powerful force. It has enabled our technological advancement. Imagination started the car industry, the aviation industry, leading to landing men on the moon and further exploration of the solar system. Hopes and dreams begin with imagination. Harness this power and you are on the way to changing habits, from stagnating to advancing habits.

Find somewhere peaceful and relaxing. Pick a goal to achieve, a promotion, a completely new job, travel the world. Can you identify aspects of your personality that have prevented this goal from so far happening? Is it fear or anxiety of the unknown, accompanied by a lack of confidence? Is it laziness? Use your imagination and play a mind movie where you are confident and in control of yourself within this achieved goal. Dream the dream.

By running this movie through your mind you are changing habits to positive progressive habits. You are also rehearsing for the event when it happens.

Desire - The Fuel for Success

Desire and our ability to want is often the primary reason we achieve our dreams. Take for instance, Abraham, who wanted a child so badly that he had the strength to believe in the promise of God and move forward, despite his age, until he had that child he so strongly desired.

Desire gives us the power to resolve problems and overcome the obstacles that block our path. The intensity of our desire, stemming from our faith, determines how actively we work towards our goals and dreams. The things that you truly want and vigorously care about are the fuel that you need to make things happen. Even when the outlook is grim and it seems to many that there is no hope, if you believe in your heart that it can be and you hold on to your unwavering desire then anything is possible.

A solid and intense want, a steadfast desire, is the foundation for achievement. Desire is the beginning of everything that is, was, and will be. Without a true desire, all of our dreams and hopes are nothing but wishes. Wishes are mere fantasy, without the power to be more. A dreamer who lacks desire will never be more than a dreamer. Those who don't understand the power of the mind typically limit themselves to the simple things they can see, touch, and hear, and cast off their hopes and dreams as nothing more than a fairy tale.

A person who wholeheartedly believes in their dreams and passionately wants the ideas they imagine, on the other hand, is consistently moving closer and closer to their goal. Desire is a fervent motivator that relentlessly drives you forward, overcoming any hindrances without thinking, until your dream is a reality.

With a strong desire, you can bring about changes others never thought possible, you can make a difference in the world, and you can live your dream. Believe in yourself and have faith in your abilities. Know that you can do anything and don't limit your true potential with barriers of doubtfulness.

Use this knowledge in your own life to reach your goals. Focus on your dreams and keep your desire consistently strong. Most importantly, believe in yourself and believe in your dreams. This simple way of thinking can accomplish anything.

Don't Waste Your TIME

Outside Success Follows Inside Success

Mohammed Ali once admitted that he was constantly telling himself and everyone else that he was the greatest way before he really was the greatest. As a matter of fact, he was screaming that he was the greatest from every hilltop that he could find in an effort to convince himself. Guess what? It worked!

There is just something about making a declaration, declaring it to be true, and truly believing it inside one's heart. By making this inner and then outer declaration we can actually create something out of nothing and perform miracles, or at least do the near impossible.

Hopefully, I have made the inner/outer declaration thing clearer and have at least begun to plant a seed in your mind that something can come from nothing. The invisible can be made visible. But, this can only happen if we believe in our hearts and minds that it can happen, and then do the outer work to make the outer result a reality. If I have successfully done this, then the big question now is; does this miracle-creating only happen to famous, rich, and powerful people like Mohammad Ali, or can this happen to anyone?

Well, let me let you in on a little secret. Who do you think Mohammad Ali was before he was the greatest? Yup. He was just Cassius Clay Jr.

So, now the really big question is who were you before you were great? Yup. You read that correctly. You are already great whether you know it or not. And your greatest greatness is still inside of you and in front of you. So let me ask you that question again. Who were you before you were great? And that answer is the same answer that Mohammed Ali would have given. You are a person with a deep inner-belief that they could be the greatest!

Now teens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Remember outside success follows inside success. And once again, thanks in advance for all that you do, and all that you will do...
